In an effort to enhance mentorship and diversity within the design community, I founded the Penn State Graphic Design Alumni Program Group (APG). This initiative connects alumni with current students, fostering professional development through mentorship programs focused on career guidance and networking opportunities. Additionally, we launched diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives to create a more inclusive environment within the program. As a result of these efforts, we saw improved student success rates and increased diversity in both program enrollment and industry placement, while also strengthening alumni engagement and industry partnerships.
